MATCH NIGHT CHECKLIST

Before You Arrive

• Confirm 5+ players available
• Know your line-up (S1-S8 and doubles pairings)
• Check you have transport to venue

Key Deadlines

Time	What Happens
20:30	All players must be signed in (minimum 5)
20:45	Not ready? Forfeit S1 & S2 + £10 fine
21:00	Not ready? Forfeit entire match 10-0 + £10 fine

WARNING: It is the HOME team’s responsibility to provide the official BDPL scorecard. No scorecard = 1 league point deducted regardless of result!

MATCH FORMAT

10 frames total:

• S1, S2, S3, S4 (singles)
• D1, D2 (doubles)
• S5, S6, S7, S8 (singles)

Player Rules

• Each player can play maximum 2 singles
• If playing 2 singles: must be once in S1-S4 and once in S7-S8 (NOT S5 or S6)
• Players doing 2 singles cannot play doubles
• Doubles players (P1 & P2) must only play 1 singles each

Points

• Win = 2 points
• Draw = 1 point
• Loss = 0 points

AFTER THE MATCH

Result Submission

1. Take a clear photo of the completed scorecard
2. Post to your Divisional WhatsApp group
3. Deadline: Tuesday 23:59
4. Late submission = £10 fine

PLAYER REGISTRATION

• All players must be registered before they play
• Unregistered player = £10 fine + frames awarded to opponents
• Players can only be registered with ONE team

Competition Eligibility

Most competitions require 4 league matches played during the season.

MEETINGS

Delegates Meetings (3 per season)

Missed	Penalty
1st	£25 fine
2nd	£25 fine + 1 point deduction
3rd	Committee discretion

Penalties are cumulative — miss both = £50 + 1 point.

AGM (December)

• Missing = £10 fine
• Any team member can attend

POSTPONEMENTS

• Request via Committee as early as possible
• Granted at Committee discretion only
• Rearranged matches must be played within set timeframe
• Failure to rearrange = match may be awarded to other team

GRIEVANCES

1. Raise in Divisional WhatsApp first
2. If unresolved → Division Support person reviews
3. If still unresolved → Full Committee decides
4. Committee decision is final — no appeals
